My name is Heather. I have a wonderful husband of 10 years and for the past 2 1/2 years I have been staying at home with 3 beautiful children. Photography has not always been my profession. I graduated college with my BSN and worked as a RN and Pharmacuetical Sales Consultant for many years. When I had my third child my husband and I made the decision for me to be at home with our children...that is when my interest in photography began. I have been fortunate to have a very talented photographer, Teri Eddy, who is my cousin, mentor me. Through her instruction, photography classes, and God's blessing, I have been able to grow what was once a mother's hobby into my own photography business. I prefer to photograph with natural lighting and my style is more candid. I will capture that which is truly you, foregoing the forced “cheese” grins. You will only be loosely posed if at all, and always in a way that makes you feel and look comfortable and natural. I let you lead me to create your portraits. I want your portraits to reveal who you are, not just what you look like. I strive to create portraits that convey the emotion of relationships and help you to remember the fleeting moments of life. I want your portraits to make you gasp when you first see them and smile every time you walk past them on the walls of your home. If you don’t feel that way, you can allow me to try to understand your desires better in order to produce the results you deserve in a reshoot, or you’ll get a refund.
